This image shows a soccer field that is behind the Jackie Joyner Kersee Youth Center. This field provides space for community members not only to play soccer, but also to have space to be outside and enjoy space to run and play together.

Jacqueline Joyner was born in East St. Louis on March 3, 1962. She attended East St. Louis Lincoln Senior High School and went on to compete in four Olympic Games.

Emerson Park houses a community center, office space, retail space, and community gardens. It was developed by the East St. Louis housing authority.

This is the Jones Park Fountain. It was once on, but it was turned off because people kept jumping in it. It now looks old. This matters because some people may want to know what happened to it because the water no longer runs.

The Jones Park Lake wasn't there until it rained before the park was built.

The stadium was built in the year of...well, we really don't know! But it has been there for a while. It was a football and baseball field.
