This image shows a soccer field that is behind the Jackie Joyner Kersee Youth Center. This field provides space for community members not only to play soccer, but also to have space to be outside and enjoy space to run and play together.
Jacqueline Joyner was born in East St. Louis on March 3, 1962. She attended East St. Louis Lincoln Senior High School and went on to compete in four Olympic Games.
